Why Should High School be Boring?

Are you tired of a school that doesn’t care about the things you want to do? Frustrated with doing the same old thing day after day? Tired of not having a voice in your education?

Introducing The Media Arts Academy presented by iSchool High. Based on the belief that High School students are ready for real education, this campus combines proven academics with the exciting world of Media Arts. And because this school is part of the family of innovative campuses of Responsive Education Solutions, there is no tuition and no fees.

Don’t be stuck in the same routine forever. It’s time to get out of the box!

Video Production

You will start multiple video projects and be a part of every step, from beginning to end. From filming with a Canon HD camera to editing in Adobe on an iMac. You’ll work on a team and collaborate with other students who have the same passions as you. You will learn from professionals in the industry and gain real life experiences with the latest equipment.

Sound Design

Great sound is a vital part of any video project. Our digital mixer, professional sound booth and AKG microphone are perfect for producing audio that takes your project to the next level. Creating sound effects, voice-overs and scores for your videos will be fun and educational.

Graphic Design

You will use Photoshop to help with your video graphics, create a DVD menu, a DVD case and even promotional posters. Photography and Web Design are also incorporated into the graphic design projects. Knowing how to use programs across all fields gives you the upper hand when you go out into the “real world” to pursue your passion.

What about my regular school subjects?

Part of the day is spent in our Media Arts Studio working on projects and learning how to produce exciting Media. The other part is spent working and collaborating in the learning center. Students work on their academic studies in a personalized environment with our proven curriculum and learning system. Our campuses are accredited with the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools. Our schools receive “Exemplary” ratings with the state of Texas. Students will receive credits in their subjects the same as any high school in Texas. And our students are well-prepared for state tests and college entrance exams.
